Ursa Urbančič (founder and artistic director)
was educated at the Intakt Studio by Elena de Vega, Igor Sviderski, Tanja Skok, Gregor Luštek, Valentina Čabro, Branko Potočan, Matej Kejžar, Andreja Rauch, Gregor Kamnikar and danced at workshops presentations in Dance Theatre of Ljubljana. She also trained at the ImPulsTanz festival with Frey Faust, Andrew L. Harwood , Chris Parkinson and Mark Low. She then continued with intensive work at Studio Jama with Matej Kejžar and Gregor Luštek and presented this work process in Dance Theatre of Ljubljana, where she was also a part of the workshop presentation by Maja Delak. Later she also performed in a project titled State of Things under the leadership of Nina Meško and was a part of the Jure Quack Quack project (performance for children) under the direction of Igor Sviderski.
After her accident she was bound, to a wheelchair and appeared in a dance performance Let Dance with Sandra Đorem and Ajda Es at Dance Theatre of Ljubljana. She participated in a DanceAbility workshop under the leadership of the founder of this practice, Alito Alessi, and then engaged herself in an intensive DanceAbility training in Vienna where she became certified in DanceAbility teaching practice. She also participated in the DanceAbility Street Parade presentation, which took place in the Museumsquartier in Vienna. She gained project management experience in the field of art for social inclusion in her past employment at Ekvilib Institute (ART-SOC project, Global Sofa) and in Medarhiv as a coordinator of the project Social Activation. She held DanceAbility workshops at Outside Frames which was an Ekvilib Institute event ( ART-SOC project, Global SOFA) at the City Museum of Ljubljana, at Cultural Bazaar in Cankarjev dom, at Centre for Education and Rehabilitation Cirius-Kamnik and also at Šus Eurofitness Centre. She was dancing in performance Čudežni produced by Slovenian Association of Disabled Students. She held two years workshops at Kazina dance studio with her own group. She is a Manager and Artist in project Jump over the Moon (Skok čez Luno).
